Joseph Tonner was born on 12 Feb 1913 in Dalmuir, Scotland son of Charles Tonner and Margaret Durning and died on 29 Aug 1999 in Clydebank, Scotland. Joseph married  Bridget Catherine Tierney daughter of William Tierney and Hannah McBrearty on 27 Dec 1939 in Clydebank. Bridget was born on 6 Aug 1916 in Ramelton, Donegal and died on 20 Jul 1987
The union of Joseph and Bridget produced the following: 

Charles became the first member of the family on February 5th 1941
Next came Teresa Anne on July 3rd 1942
Following a gap of six plus years Mary Margaret arrived on January 20th 1948
Also in the same year came William on December 27th 1948
Not wasting any time, along came Joseph on January 13th 1950
And yet again in the same year arrived Agnes on December 15th 1950
Two years passed before Patrick made his presence felt on December 31st 1952
Just short of twelve months later along came John Henry on December 27 1953
A short break before Catherine Veronica joined the family on March 3rd 1955
Another member to arrive not long afterward was James Gerard on July 6th 1956
George took his place in the family on August 26th 1957
Last to arrive but not least on December 24th 1960 was Stephen Nicholas

George died on January 16 2015, he never recovered from the operation to repair his broken his hip.

RIP in the front seat mate! 

Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Charles, Teresa, Mary, Billy, Joseph, Agnes, Patrick, John, Catherine, Jim and Stephen, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his many nieces, nephews and their families.

George was loved wherever he went, he made many, many friends in various towns, cities and countries.

TONNER — GEORGE. Peacefully at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, on Friday 16th January, 2015, George, loving son, brother and uncle. Fortified by rites of the Catholic Church, R.I.P. Rosary to be held today, Tuesday, 20th January at 5pm, at Clydebank Co-operative Funeral Home, 11 Hume Street, Clydebank, followed by reception and vigil at St Eunan’s Church, Clydebank at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 21st January at 9.30am, thereafter to Old Kilpatrick Cemetery, arriving at 11am approximately. Sadly missed by all the family.
